Thermotechnical Lab
The Thermotechnical Lab researches, tests and optimises thermal energy systems – such as district heating networks, heat pumps, buffer tanks, heat exchangers and thermal storage – to make buildings and neighbourhoods more sustainable, more efficient and less reliant on fossil fuels.
This state-of-the-art lab is equipped with multifunctional equipment, enabling independent static and dynamic testing of thermal systems in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. The lab is precisely controlled and monitored via an industrial PLC infrastructure linked to a SCADA system.
In addition to evaluating the performance of thermal energy applications, field monitoring can also be carried out in this lab.
