Open Thor Build | Outdoor Construction lab
At our outdoor construction laboratory at EnergyVille, we develop and test energy systems in real-world outdoor conditions, simulating actual construction site environments and field deployment scenarios.
The outdoor construction site lab, which forms part of Open Thor Build, is the ultimate testing ground for the construction and energy sectors. It is a unique testing and demonstration environment that replicates real-life construction site conditions.
The enclosed outdoor area, measuring 18 by 23 metres, is large enough to accommodate hoisting equipment, aerial work platforms and scissor lifts. At the centre of the test zone is a concrete core for building structures and setting up realistic construction site scenarios.
The construction site lab can be used independently, but also complements our robotics lab perfectly: new construction solutions and methods developed there can be tested and validated here in real-life conditions.
