Reliable protection of underground cable systems is essential for the safe operation of future power networks. The growing integration of Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs) and underground cables introduces new challenges, particularly in maintaining AC-side protection integrity. At EnergyVille, we develop methods to design and analyse protection schemes for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) grids.
