IEA PVPS Whole of Programme Meeting 2027
Welcome to WoP 2027
The IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS) Whole of Programme meeting (WoP) brings the PVPS community together across Tasks and the Executive Committee. The 2027 edition will be hosted by Hasselt University and EnergyVille in Belgium and will combine Task meetings, inter-Task exchange, a Whole of Programme day, technical visits, networking activities and the Executive Committee meeting.
Preliminary programme
The programme is designed to give individual Tasks enough working time while creating more opportunities for exchange across the wider IEA PVPS community.

Registration

Fees (indicative)
- WoP registration (full week): €100
- Social event (Wed 7 Apr): ~€50
- SolTech (TBC) technical visit: €5
Payment process and international payment considerations are under review.
Visa & invitation letters
Participants who require a visa for Belgium will be able to request an official invitation letter through the registration process. Invitation letters are expected to be signed by the host representative from Hasselt University.
Travel, stay & practical information
Arrival via Brussels Airport
Brussels Airport has a railway station directly below the terminal. Train schedules and tickets are available via SNCB/NMBS.
To UHasselt Campus Diepenbeek
Take the train from Brussels Airport to Hasselt. From Hasselt railway station, continue by De Lijn bus to the stop Diepenbeek Universiteit.
To EnergyVille Genk
Take the train from Brussels Airport to Genk. From Genk railway station, continue by De Lijn bus to Thor Park / EnergyVille.

To UHasselt Campus Diepenbeek
From Hasselt railway station, Campus Diepenbeek can be reached by De Lijn bus lines 44, 45, 20a, 20b or 36a. Get off at Diepenbeek Universiteit.

To EnergyVille Genk
From Genk railway station, take De Lijn bus 1 towards Zwartberg Vliegveld and get off at Waterschei Thorpark.

Taxi / Uber
For greater flexibility, particularly when travelling with luggage, a taxi or Uber can be used for the local transfer. Uber operates in the Genk/Diepenbeek area; availability and waiting times may vary, so we recommend checking the Uber app in advance.
We can recommend several hotels in both Hasselt and Genk, depending on your preferred location and travel arrangements. We will share more information and recommended accommodation options shortly.
