Mark your calendar from March 16 to 21. Because then FTI, the first Flanders Technology & Innovation Festival, will take place all over Flanders.

Of course EnergyVille can not miss out on this unique roadshow on innovation, and joins the FTI Hasselt programme with some specific side events in Genk.

March 17 – Energy Festival in Genk

Electric vehicles play an important role in reducing local and global emissions, greatly increasing livability in cities. Visit EnergyVille and learn how electric vehicles are efficiently charged through renewable energy.

In the residential areas “New Texas” and the “garden district Waterschei” you will discover the energy-positive neighborhoods of the future that produce more energy than they consume. A vibrant neighborhood party awaits you with music, fun demos, practical energy tips, but above all a new perspective on energy in a casual atmosphere.

With a shuttle bus you can easily move between EnergyVille and the neighborhoods.

March 17: Children’s University

During the Children’s University, children between 8-13 years old can participate in a variety of fun activities organized by scientists at EnergyVille.

Is your little scientist at home between the ages of 8 and 13 and curious about what higher education is like? Then sign him or her up for a half or full day at Children’s University.

Registration is mandatory.

March 19 – Industry day: smart and impactful energy solutions

During the Industry Day, we will take a closer look at the challenges of energy transition together. Come discover impactful energy solutions and specific energy projects that contribute to sustainable urban development. We will take you on a unique innovation tour through Thor Park. You will also have the chance to visit THOREAQ, a unique testing environment for energy technologies, which will be open to the public for the very first time.

Registration is mandatory.
