During the Energy Festival, which is part of Flanders Technology and Innovation Hasselt, several stimulating activities will take place in Genk.

More than 30 family homes in “New Texas” and the “Waterschei garden neighborhood” will undergo a collective renovation in the coming months with state-of-the-art technologies in heating, ventilation, and energy production/storage thanks to the oPEN Lab project.

Curious to see how the residents of “New Texas” and the “Waterschei garden suburb” are themselves participating in these energy-positive neighborhoods of the future? Then be sure to come to this vibrant neighborhood party with music, fun demos, practical energy tips, but above all a new perspective on energy in a casual atmosphere.
