During the Industry Day of FTI, we will have a closer look at the challenges of the energy transition together. Discover impactful energy solutions and specfic energy projects that contribute to sustainable urban development.

Innovation & district renovation tours

We will take you on a unique innovation tour through the Open Thor Living Lab at Thor Park. In doing so, you will have the chance to visit THOREAQ, the unique test environment for energy technologies, which will be open to the public for the first time.

More interested in district renovations? Then join us on a district renovation tour to the New Texas social housing neighborhood and the Waterschei garden neighborhood where oPEN Lab renovations are currently underway. While doing so, we will also visit our neighbors at Soltech.

During the energy market, you will learn about energy solutions for sustainable urban development and innovations in heating and cooling. You will also discover charging solutions for sustainable mobility and technologies for generating energy.

From 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., a panel discussion on energy flexibility will take place. Which sources of flexibility will play a pivotal role in the coming years? Why is flexibility so essential in the power grid? And what opportunities does it bring? In this panel discussion, we will formulate an answer to all your questions.
