EDIH-EBE Deep Dive: Battery Safety
Batteries are everywhere — from electric vehicles and home batteries to large-scale battery parks — and we are seeing more and more of them. At the same time, concerns about battery fire safety are growing, while clear standards and practical guidance remain limited.
That is why we are organizing an inspiring deep-dive session on “Batteries and Fire Safety” with expert talks and a demo, followed by the presentation of a new COOCK+ project idea: “Knowledge Hub for Batteries and Fire Safety.” Discover how we aim to consolidate knowledge on battery and fire safety and translate it into practical tools for companies, public authorities, and emergency services.
During the session, we will present the project idea, discuss the key challenges and needs identified within the sector, and share pioneering experiences from various stakeholders in the field.
In addition, we will connect these insights to the Battery Accelerator of Flux50, ensuring that innovation and safety go hand in hand. Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape how we approach battery safety in the future!
