EDIH-EBE Deep Dive: Battery Safety
Batteries are everywhere, from electric vehicles and home batteries to large-scale storage installations. At the same time, concerns about their fire safety are growing, while clear standards and practical guidance are still lacking.
That is why we are organising an inspiring deep-dive session on battery safety, in the context of a new COOCK+ project idea. Discover how we aim to bring together knowledge on battery and fire safety and translate it into practical, usable insights for companies, public authorities, and emergency services. During the session, we will present the project idea, discuss the key challenges and needs within the sector, and share pioneering experiences from various players in the field.
This session is relevant for a broad audience: from fire brigades and insurers to project developers, companies working with batteries, and safety professionals. In addition, we will link the insights to Flux50’s Battery Accelerator, ensuring that innovation and safety go hand in hand. Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape how we will deal with battery safety in the future!
