Nieuwe PV technologie voor industrie 4.0
Het PV4Industry4.0-project investeert in de verdere ontwikkeling van de procestechnologie voor flexibele productie van PV-modules en een geavanceerd analysepark waar de producten van de vele spelers in de PV-waardeketen hun materialen/producten kunnen testen.
About the project
Flanders/Belgium boasts a diverse and vibrant industrial ecosystem within the Integrated PV sector, encompassing materials, device suppliers, production, and installation companies. It is imperative to establish a technology and analysis platform to support these providers. This platform not only offers technological assistance but also fosters an ecosystem where stakeholders can connect, fostering alignments and partnerships.
Investments in PV4Industry4.0 are pivotal for elevating the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) of these emerging technologies. Such investments serve the entire value chain, reinforcing Flanders’ leading position in the sector. This entails enhancing process technologies for flexible PV module production and establishing an advanced analysis park to test materials and products from various players in the value chain.
Moreover, this infrastructure extends beyond PV products; it also accommodates related items such as “functional glass,” enabling testing for performance and reliability.

Vlaanderen/België heeft een divers en levendig industrieel ecosysteem binnen de geïntegreerde PV-sector, met inbegrip van materialen, leveranciers van apparaten, productie- en installatiebedrijven. Het is van essentieel belang om een technologie- en analyseplatform op te richten ter ondersteuning van deze aanbieders. Dit platform biedt niet alleen technologische ondersteuning, maar bevordert ook een ecosysteem waar stakeholders verbinding kunnen maken, met als doel samenwerkingen en partnerschappen te stimuleren.
Investeringen in PV4Industry4.0 zijn cruciaal voor het verhogen van het Technologiegereedheidsniveau (TRL) en het Productiegereedheidsniveau (MRL) van deze opkomende technologieën. Dergelijke investeringen bedienen de gehele waardeketen en versterken de leidende positie van Vlaanderen in de sector. Dit omvat het verbeteren van proces technologieën voor flexibele productie van PV-modules en het opzetten van een geavanceerd analysepark om materialen en producten van verschillende spelers in de waardeketen te testen.
Bovendien gaat deze infrastructuur verder dan PV-producten; het biedt ook ruimte voor gerelateerde items zoals “functioneel glas”, waardoor tests voor prestaties en betrouwbaarheid mogelijk zijn.

The PV4Industry4.0 project is an investment project under the EFRO program REACT-EU (Recovery Assistance for Cohesion and the Territories of Europe) that will support and further develop the PV industry in Limburg and Flanders, and more broadly in the Benelux and the rest of Europe.
