At EnergyVille, we develop innovative battery management systems (BMS) for safe and efficient deployment of batteries in various mobile and stationary applications. This technology builds on in-house developed monitoring systems for fuel cell systems and can also be used with other storage technologies such as supercapacitors, or even technology combinations in hybrid storage systems. The continuous measurement and analysis of individual cell and package properties enable accurate assessment of charge and health status. We are committed to offering flexible and configurable software and hardware for BMS solutions that can respond to customers’ exact needs. For the next BMS generation, the focus is on distributed technology with cell-connected or even cell-integrated electronics. Also high on the agenda is the development of even more advanced battery models and techniques (e.g., machine learning) that can, for example, estimate degradation or perform early failure detection. By making the combination with building and vehicle management systems, we try to integrate batteries in a safe and cost-efficient way.
