AMV ELC – Labor Market Demand-driven Energy Learning Community
The energy transition is moving at lightning speed. With ever-changing challenging innovations at the base: biomaterials, solar, wind, hydrogen, iron powder, energy storage, hybrid heat pumps, induction. At the same time, the labor market is extremely tight. The challenge is getting enough professionals with up-to-date knowledge and expertise into the field.
Cross-border cooperation with bundling of knowledge from colleges and universities on both sides of the border in the Netherlands and Flanders combined with practical application at specialized companies in the region offer the solution.
Expertise is built up in practice in remote labs, at affiliated knowledge institutes and hands-on at companies. A contemporary approach, attractive for beginners and tailored to professionals.
Working together on energy transition requires a contemporary approach, learning on the job, 24/7 with test setups and coaching. Commitment from companies, knowledge institutions, politics and support from policy makers. That is what this project offers: the ultimate form of collaboration in the Energy Learning Community (AMV-ELC).
This Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland project is financed by the European Union and running between 2023 and 2026 with the following partners: Baandomein, Flux50, Green Energy Park, EnergyVille/Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Oanax, Schakel Vlaanderen, Syntrum VZW, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Universiteit Gent, Volta, The Future.
