EventWorkshops

Is your organisation or company facing decisions about future-oriented energy solutions for family homes? And would you like to gain more insight into the challenges and possible solutions that we can generate with data in this area? Then the free workshop ‘The potential of open datasets Open Thor Living Lab’ is for you.

EFRO

Free workshop ‘The potential of open datasets Open Thor Living Lab’

This interactive workshop, organised as part of the ‘SmarThor ERDF – Expansion of digital services Open Thor Living Lab’ project, offers a unique opportunity to explore the possibilities of data use in smart charging and the intelligent control of energy technologies in buildings together with our experts and other professionals. Together, you will test several innovative tools together and discuss which functionality you would like to see developed further. This is a unique opportunity to provide input during the development phase, so that our experts can optimally tailor the tools to your needs.

Book your spot quickly. Please note that this workshop will be held in Dutch.

Our research into sustainable homes and neighbourhoods

As early as 2010, EnergyVille investigated within the Linear project how family homes and smart charging can provide flexibility to the energy system. The oPEN Lab project will soon complete the construction phase of the collective renovation in ‘Nieuw Texas’. In the coming months, the focus will shift from detailed monitoring to smarter management of energy consumption in homes. In addition, collective energy systems and energy-as-a-service will be trialled in several homes.

Within the SmarThor ERDF project – Expansion of digital services Open Thor Living Lab, co-funded by EFRO [Dutch] and provincie Limburg [Dutch], we aim to improve access to data and test infrastructure for companies within the Open Thor Living Lab. In this way, we support companies in the development and testing of innovative energy applications.

A unique opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape the future of smart energy solutions

As part of this innovative project, we are organising a free workshop entitled ‘The potential of open datasets: Open Thor Living Lab’. During this interactive session, we will not only share our insights and experiences but will also discuss the opportunities and expectations surrounding open data and innovative energy tools.

Curious about our insights and the views of others on these topics? Then you cannot miss the co-creation workshop! Read on for practical information, the schedule, and how to register.
