Task experts, Task Managers and Executive Committee members come together in Belgium for collaboration, knowledge exchange and strategic discussion across IEA PVPS.
Welcome to WoP 2027
The IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS) Whole of Programme meeting brings the PVPS community together across Tasks and the Executive Committee. The 2027 edition will be hosted by Hasselt University and EnergyVille in Belgium and will combine Task meetings, inter-Task exchange, a Whole of Programme day, technical visits, networking activities and the Executive Committee meeting.

Preliminary Programme
The programme is designed to give individual Tasks enough working time while creating more opportunities for exchange across the wider IEA PVPS community.

Monday arrival concept: The morning/lunch period is being explored as a welcoming and networking moment, potentially combining an opening, lunch and inter-Task interaction.
Friday Stakeholder / Policy Session: A focused session (approx. 2 hours) for invited stakeholders. Potential themes include grid integration, circularity and recycling, Agri-PV, and European PV innovation/competitiveness. Final format and stakeholder list are under development.
ExCo Meeting: The ExCo meeting will take place the following week after the WoP week. It is expected to run until Wednesday or Thursday. Exact dates and details will be announced in due course (TBC).
Registration
Registration will be designed for different participant profiles across the WoP week. The registration form will be prepared in coordination with the IEA PVPS Executive Secretariat and made available through the event website.

Participants will be asked for contact and affiliation details, country, IEA PVPS Task, ExCo status, meetings attended, SolTech visit interest, social event participation, dietary requirements and visa-support needs.
Timing
Target: registration structure ready in autumn 2026.
Indicative registration deadline: January 2027 (TBC).
Fees (Indicative)
WoP registration (full week): €100
Social event (Wed 7 Apr): ~€50
SolTech (TBC) technical visit: €5
Payment process and international payment considerations are under review.
Visa & Invitation Letters
Participants who require a visa for Belgium will be able to request an official invitation letter through the registration process. Invitation letters are expected to be signed by the host representative from Hasselt University.
For ExCo Participants
ExCo members will have a dedicated website section with the information most relevant to their participation, including the ExCo meeting (dates TBC), ExCo dinner, accommodation and practical logistics.
Travel, Stay & Practical Information
Getting here: Step-by-step travel guidance including arrival via Brussels Airport, rail and transfer information will be provided.
Local mobility: Hasselt ↔ Diepenbeek transport, public transport, event transport and activity transfers.
Accommodation: Curated list of recommended hotels with distance/transport information and booking instructions.
Accessibility: Contact the organising team for any accessibility or mobility requirements.
Food & coffee: Lunches on main meeting days with vegetarian/non-vegetarian options, salad, dessert and a drink. Central self-service coffee/tea area. Details to be confirmed.
Social event: All-Tasks social event on Wednesday evening (7 Apr). Venue, programme and participation details will follow.
Technical visit: SolTech (TBC) technical visit (€5). Programme, capacity and logistics are currently under review.
